The NBA has announced the 28 players who will participate in the 2024 Rising Stars game that will take place on Feb. 16th in Indianapolis. 

The player pool consists of 11 NBA rookies, 10 second-year NBA players and seven NBA G League players.

Stephen Curry and Sabrina Ionescu will compete against each other in a three-point shootout during All-Star Weekend, sources told Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Curry was not named as a starter for the All-Star Game.

All-Star Weekend is scheduled for February 16-18.  

Tyrese Haliburton of the host Indiana Pacers headlines the 2024 NBA All-Star Starters. The 73rd All-Star Game will take place on Sunday, February 18th.

The NBA has awarded the 2026 All-Star Game to the Los Angeles Clippers. The game will be played at Intuit Dome in Inglewood on Feb. 15, 2026.

The Clippers will open Intuit Dome next season.

“The Intuit Dome promises to present a unique and innovative live basketball experience which will be an extraordinary venue for the NBA All-Star Game in 2026,” said Adam Silver. “Thanks again to Steve Ballmer, Gillian Zucker, and the Clippers organization for their commitment to delivering a world-class showcase of the very best of our sport.”

This will mark the record seventh NBA All-Star in the Los Angeles area, which hosted the event in 2018, 2011, 2004, 1983, 1972 and 1963.

Victor Wembanyama plans to participate in the Skills Challenge at NBA All-Star Weekend in Indianapolis, sources told Shams Charania of The Athletic.

All-Star Weekend runs from February 16 through 18.

Wembanyama is averaging 19.6 points and 10.3 rebounds on the season. 

The Los Angeles Clippers will host the 2026 All-Star Game at the Intuit Dome, sources told Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.

The NBA will make an official announcement on Tuesday.

The Kia Forum will also play a role during All-Star Weekend.

The Clippers will move into the Intuit Dome for the 2024-25 season. 

LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo lead the Western and Eastern Conferences, respectively, in the first fan returns of 2024 NBA All-Star Voting. The game will take place in Indianapolis. 

Joining James (West frontcourt) and Antetokounmpo (East frontcourt) as top vote-getters at their respective position groups are the Luka Doncic (West guard) and Tyrese Haliburton (East guard).

Fans account for 50 percent of the vote to determine the starters for the 2024 NBA All-Star Game. Current NBA players and a media panel account for 25 percent each.
