The San Antonio Spurs have waived Marcus Morris Sr. after agreeing to a buyout.

San Antonio acquired Morris Sr. on Feb. 8 as part of a three-team trade with the Indiana Pacers and Philadelphia 76ers.

Pat Beverley previously reported that Morris is expected to sign with the Minnesota Timberwolves upon his inevitable buyout.

The Atlanta Hawks are waiving guard Patty Mills. The Hawks acquired Mills from the Oklahoma City Thunder, after the Thunder had acquired Mills from the Brooklyn Nets in a salary-clearing trade.

In a limited role with Atlanta, Mills has averaged 2.7 points in 10.6 minutes per game across 19 appearances.

With the open roster sport, the Hawks will convert Trent Forrest from his two-way deal to a standard contract. Forrest maximized his allowed 50 NBA games while on his two-way contract recently. He's been ineligible to play since.

Forrest has appeared in 43 games with Atlanta while on two-way contracts each of the last two seasons.

The Memphis Grizzlies signing Jordan Goodwin to a two-way contract. To make room for Goodwin, the Grizzlies are going to waive Jacob Gilyard from his two-way deal.

The Grizzlies are continuing to shuffle spots at the end of their injury-ravaged roster. 

Gilyard has played well for Memphis, but he's maximized his allowable games on his two-way deal. Two-way players are only allowed to be active for up to 50 NBA games per season. Gilyard averaged 4.7 points and 3.5 assists, while shooting 42.5% on three-pointers in 37 games for the Grizzlies this season.

Goodwin just completed a 10-day deal with the Grizzlies. Goodwin should have 15 available NBA games on a prorated NBA deal.

The Oklahoma City Thunder are waiving big man Aleksej Pokusevski. The Thunder will eat Pokusevski's $5 million salary for this season. He was set to be a free agent following the end of the season.

Despite flashing promise at various points during his first four NBA seasons, Pokusevski was unable to grab hold of a regular role with Oklahoma City. Each time he seemed to have some positive momentum, Pokusevski would pick up and injury. That seemingly set him back to starting over after each period of missed time.

The Detroit Pistons waived Malcolm Cazalon on Wednesday.

Cazalon appeared in 14 games in the G League, averaging 9.0 points per game.

The Pistons opened up a two-way contract with the move.

Delon Wright has agreed to a contract buyout with the Washington Wizards and plans to sign with the Miami Heat upon clearing waivers.

In 33 games this season, Wright is averaging 4.1 points, 1.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 13.8 minutes.

Wright is represented by Greg Lawrence. 

Kyle Lowry has reached a buyout agreement with the Charlotte Hornets. He's now set to join his hometown team, the Philadelphia 76ers, after he clears waivers.

Lowry was traded to the Hornets from the Miami Heat ahead of the trade deadline. The veteran point guard and Charlotte agreed he wouldn't report to the team. When the Hornets couldn't re-trade Lowry, they worked a buyout agreement.

Lowry has long wanted to play for the Sixers. He grew up in Philadelphia and played his college ball at Villanova. Now, he'll get a chance to return home and to reunite with Nick Nurse, who was his coach with the Toronto Raptors.

The Charlotte Hornets waived Frank Ntilikina and Ish Smith on Thursday, the team announced.

The Hornets also waived James Bouknight.

The team acquired Tre Mann, Vasilije Micic, Davis Bertans, and draft compensation for Gordon Hayward earlier in the day.

The Detroit Pistons have waived Danilo Gallinari.

Gallinari is expected to begin free agents meetings on Friday.

Gallinari appeared in six games with the Pistons, averaging 8.7 points, 2.3 rebounds and 2.0 assists over 15.0 minutes. 

The Charlotte Hornets have waived James Bouknight.

Bouknight was a lottery pick by the Hornets in 2021.
