The New Orleans Pelicans have waived forward Lou Amundson.

Amundson appeared in 18 games for the Pelicans this season and averaged 2.1 points, 3.1 rebounds and 0.6 blocks in 10.2 minutes per game.

The New York Knicks will waive Chris Smith.

Smith is the younger brother of J.R. Smith.

Smith's contract for the 13-14 NBA season is already fully guaranteed.

Smith played in just two games with the Knicks this season, along with an additional six in the D-League with the Erie BayHawks.

Hilton Armstrong has been waived by the Golden State Warriors, the team announced Sunday night.

Armstrong averaged 0.9 points and 2.3 rebounds in seven games with the Warriors.

The Chicago Bulls have waived guard Mike James.

James appeared in seven games with Chicago, and averaged 0.3 ppg and 0.9 apg in 5.4 mpg. He signed with Chicago on Sept. 27.

Chicago’s roster now stands at 13.

The New Orleans Pelicans have waived forward Josh Childress.

Childress, who originally signed with New Orleans on Nov. 12, 2013, appeared in four games with the Pelicans this season, tallying a total of three rebounds, two assists and a steal in 24 minutes. 

The Los Angeles Lakers waived Elias Harris last week in a move that saves the team nearly $1.1 million.

Harris was waived shortly before his minimum salary of $490,180 became guaranteed.

Shawne Williams, Xavier Henry and Ryan Kelly are also Lakers on non-guaranteed deals.

The Golden State Warriors have waived center Dewayne Dedmon.

Dedmon, 24, was originally signed as a D-League call-up from the Santa Cruz Warriors on Nov. 18.

The 7’0” center appeared in four games with Golden State, logging a total of six minutes.

During his time with Golden State, Dedmon also appeared in one game with Santa Cruz while on assignment to the D-League club
