The Houston Rockets and Phoenix Suns have seriously discussed a trade of Corey Brewer and Terrence Jones for Markieff Morris.
Morris has been seeking a trade from the Suns since the offseason.
But Brewer cannot be traded until January 15th because teams over the cap can't trade players that were signed in the offseason until that date. Players who were acquired or re-signed in the offseason on teams not over the cap can be traded beginning on December 15th.
The complete array of Jan. 15ers follows:
Boston: Jae Crowder
Brooklyn: Brook Lopez
Chicago: Jimmy Butler and Mike Dunleavy
Cleveland: Kevin Love and Iman Shumpert
Detroit: Reggie Jackson
Golden State: Draymond Green
Houston: Patrick Beverley and Brewer
Indiana: Lavoy Allen
