Patrick Beverley is expected to miss several games after spraining his wrist against the Utah Jazz last Saturday.
X-rays revealed no break in Beverley's wrist.
"We knew there was no break, but that doesn't mean he is going to be out or not," said Rivers following the game.
Beverley is averaging 8 points and 6 rebounds on the season.
An MRI on Skal Labissiere's knee returned inconclusive, the Portland Trail Blazers announced. Labissiere, who suffered the injury against the Lakers, will have a second MRI later this week.

The Blazers recalled Moses Brown from the Texas Legends.
James Harden will sit out Sunday night's game against the New Orleans Pelicans with a sprained toe.
It is the first game he'll miss this season.
"He probably could [play], but given the circumstances it's better that he doesn't. He's banged up a little bit," said Mike D'Antoni.
Russell Westbrook will also miss the game due to rest.
The Rockets are 8-6 without Harden in the last 3 seasons.
Kyle Lowry credited the professionalism of the Toronto Raptors following their 113-97 win over the Boston Celtics at TD Garden.
"We've got pros. We've got guys who don't care what people say. We've got guys that kind of just don't give a f--- and just go out there and work. ... We have guys that just don't care. We are going to go play. No matter what, where, how, we're going to go play," Lowry told Tim Bontemps of ESPN.
The Raptors lost to the Celtics at home on Christmas Day earlier in the week. They are currently playing without Pascal Siakam, Marc Gasol, and Norm Powell.
The team have lost 103 games due to injury this season, tied for the 4th most in the NBA.
Lowry added that the Raptors are focused on peaking down the stretch.
"I think we learned last year to stay in that even-keeled and whatever happens, happens, and we'll figure it out. I think April, May and June -- that's when we really want to be our best team."
Doc Rivers expressed concern over Patrick Beverley's wrist injury following the Los Angeles Clippers' 120-107 loss to the Utah Jazz.
Beverley hurt his wrist early in the 3rd quarter. X-rays revealed there was no break, though Rivers added that Beverley could still miss games.
"We knew there was no break, but that doesn't mean he is going to be out or not. It could be a bruise, it could be anything. He clearly felt like he could not even grab the ball, so that is not a good sign. I'm concerned a little bit about what the injury is, if it's an injury, if it's just a one-game thing -- hopefully it's that," said Rivers.
Rivers added that the Clippers were also down due to the flu, with Montrezl Harrell leaving the arena before the game after feeling sick.
Marvin Bagley will be out for the next few games with a midfoot sprain, according to the Sacramento Kings.

LeBron James will play against the Portland Trail Blazers despite suffering a groin injury.

It is not known whether James will play in the second half of the back-to-back against the Mavs on Sunday.
The Lakers are currently on a 4-game losing streak.
Bradley Beal will miss the Washington Wizards Saturday night game against the New York Knicks due to soreness in his leg.
Beal, who suffered the injury against the Pistons, had a streak of 194 consecutive games played.
Scott Brooks appeared unconcerned by the injury.
"Hopefully, he'll be back next game, but don't know that. Day-to-day from today. He feels better today.''
Marcus Smart is set to make his Boston Celtics return after sitting out the previous 8 games with an eye infection that spread to both eyes.
"I thought I was going to go blind for a while. I think it was the worst case of viral conjunctivitis that they've seen," said Smart before the Celtics game against the Raptors on Christmas.
Smart is averaging 11.8 points and 4.6 assists this season.
